Ding Wu was born in Beijing, China in 1962.

When he was a child, Ding Wu learned to paint.

Then, with the money earned by painting,he collected the early musical instruments of playing rock and roll.

Ding Wu, 8, studied hard at model operas.In the middle of nowhere, he made his debut album《A Dream Return To Tang Dynasty》.

1976，That's when Ding Wu was 14 years old.

He learned guitar.And founded the “Tang Dynasty Band” more than 10 years later.

In June 13, 2008, the album 《Romantic Knight》 was released.In January 23, 2010, the band won the seventh gold record Award "Rock Band Award".

In November 8, 2013, the album 《Thorn》 was released.In January 11, 2014, the band won the Golden Melody Awards in China.“Hall level Band Award”
